Getting Back on Track! A Recipe, A Movie, and a Joke?

Hey everyone, finally getting back at ya. Seeing as how I left off with 108 followers and still have that, I'd like to thank all of you for being patient. I had a rough week but its a good thing I have great friends and a wonderful girlfriend <3. Things are coming up for me that will be a tad stressful, but for now I've caught a grip on things. Anywho, Now Im gonna pay back your patience with a triple whammy blog post!

First result for "Power of 3" Also responsible for most modern Wiccans

We are going to start off with what I like to believe is an awesome recipe. I've shared it by word of mouth for the past couple of years, and now its time for it to hit the Internet.

I created this meal my freshman year of college. I spent nearly that entire school year stoned and it was a hell of an experience. Alongside the adventures and the deep discussions (whoa, do you wonder if like the sky is real man? or just a projection they have setup?) I made a few foods that only those wandering through the depths of starvation would dare eat. I had a homeboy who was my main partner in crime, and usually after we toked, we'd head back to his place, and put on a movie and eat. Being Shelter provider he usually ate better, unless we split pizza or something, but usually he'd have something nice and had something acceptable. One day when he was eating a Chicken Caesar Salad, I was stuck with Ramen and gold fish crackers...and shredded nacho cheese. So yeah...

Step 1: Get Ramen in a bowl. Boil/Microwave with hot water yeah you know. Ignore the flavoring, snort it or something, just dont use it for this meal.
Step 2: Add the shredded cheese to the Ramen in the bowl
Step 3: Stir that shit and eat it! JUST THE NOODLES, DONT DRINK THE CHEESY SOUP!

Yeah bet you guys thought this was a 1 course meal....hell no!

Step 4: Once you are done with the noodles, take your Gold Fish Crackers and ADD THEM TO THE CHEESE SOUP YOU HAVE LEFT FROM PHASE 1
Step 5: Once you have poured in a sufficient amount of goldfish crackers into the cheese soup, eat it like cereal!

He might have enjoyed eating this. Also the night I invented the meal we watched Memento...very confusing.

Now for the next part of our Revenge! The movie!

DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG BLOG

Its a wonderful movie, trust me.

The movie stars Neil Patrick Harris (Dougie Hazard M.D., Starship Troopers, How I Met Your Mother, Harold and Kumar and a bunch more) as the villainous Dr. Horrible, a villain seeking admission into the "Guild of Evil". Along the way he tries to romance the cutie from his laundrymat Penny (Felicia Day) and outsmart and outmaneuver the city's headstrong resident super-douche Captain Hammer (Nathaniel Something or other). The movie is a musical but has several parts with normal dialogue. The songs are cute and charming and some are pretty deep. The movie is also pretty damn funny Neil does a pretty good job at making you laugh. Besides being well acted, humorous, the movie also has some serious parts, trust me you should see it, even if you think it looks or sounds childish, just watch and finish it. I'm sure you'll be more than pleased, its a complex movie in simple movie garbs. Its good to watch as a date movie, or if you have preteen kids around. All in all a wonderful movie...oh did I mention its only an hour long? Yeah, even your shortass attention span should be able to make it.

The Protaganist
The Heroine

The JACKASS

Not only all this, but the movie was distributed free in 2008 for about a year and a half. No one who was involved in making this movie got paid until a long while after the release. So be thankful.

Last but not least, we have that joke...What do you call a midget psychic who's escaped from prison.....A small medium at large!!

Seriously the joke is a look at Apple's homepage right now...

Wow what could it be!? Ending world hunger? Alien contact? God forbid world peace!?
Answer: Probably just some more bullshit that we're gonna have to pay for.
Someone will be born tomorrow, and one of that kid's parents will have seen this and forever associated it with his child's birthday.

So I did some research...by that I mean I googled it and checked the first 3 links. Some say its Apple acquiring the right to stream television, others say its Apple getting rights to the Beatles (because nothing says immortal exploitation like owning a mostly dead band). John Lennon and George Harrison, my prayers go out to your probably now pissed off souls. As for those of you Beatles that are still alive...well I bet Apple can't wait for you to die so that they can force your images of your youthful days to do stupid shit to promote their products.

Hmmmmm kinda negative...gotta end funny Tony!!

BOOYAKA!! Ending it classy!

Good Night Everyone!

SCOTT PILGRIM

So yeah, another chem class today....sadness and bitterness ensues...all that aside...
ITS NOW TIME FOR HAPPY MOVIE/SAD MOVIE REVIEW
Now we're gonna review a happy upbeat movie . So open up your hearts.

We're gonna start off with Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World...obviously the happy one...

Michael Cera's finest hour

So this movie is Directed by Edgar Wright, the man responsible for Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and many other gems. Its based on a comic written by Bryan Lee O'Malley that goes by the same name. This movie stars Michael Cera, and McKulley Caulken's little brother. Theres other actors but I don't know them. Either way though, the acting is pretty good, I found the movie to be very enjoyable. Its got a good bunch of video game references for all the dorks out there, its really amusing. That and other pop culture jokes, vegan powers, a seinfeld reference, cool action scenes, the works. Like I said, not a bad movie, a little ADD in my opinion, but I still find it enjoyable.

Try to explain that logically
So yeah, some great visuals, reaaaaal trippy! Cool music, very cool music. And the Action Scenes were, Im not gonna lie, pretty fucking awesome....*Spoiler Alert*.....Theres a fight between magical Dragons and a Yeti....*End Spoiler*

So yeah, its like a Musical, but instead of dancing, theres fighting! I give the movie a 4.5 out of 5....Im coming up with a better rating system sometime, so please bear with.

And to piss off you extreme fanboys.......Its Twilight for gamer boys! Peace!

All in all, I gotta say, I was really proud of Michael Cera in this movie, I never really liked him in his other movies, but I feel that now I really respect him as an actor.

Yup, the new face of acting

Peace

Edit: Sorry people, I had soul crushing movie up there because I was gonna review another movie alongside this one, but when it came down to it, I said fuck it Ill do it later. And I will...soon. Sooner than you think anyway.

Peace again.

Some Comics!

So a suggestion I saw about a new blog was to review comics. Now, I don't think I have read enough comics to devote a blog to it, but I have seen quite a bit. So I think I just cover them here. Today, I want to introduce you all to two of my personal favorites thus far...Kill Audio and Irredeemable.

So we're starting off with Irredeemable!

This man is a combination of Superman and Hitler...yikes

Irredeemable is a comic written by Mark Waid, responsible for some series of DC comics The Flash, Superman: Birthright, and Captain America. Basically its about a Superman-esque character that ends up going crazy because all of a sudden he wants to go on a murder spree. The series starts with that universe's equivalent of Batman (Called The Hornet) is on the run, having failed to stop the Plutonian's murder spree, The Hornet tries to get his family out, and yeah, Plutonian finds him and murders them all, WIFE AND KIDS. This series is honestly pretty fucked up, I am not joking. I'm not gonna spoil to much but issues include, crystals being thrown from space at the earth, the parents of a mentally handicapped kid being murdered in front of him, a country being pushed underwater, and lots of other awesome totally scary things. Not ALL is lost (but its still a lot) some of Earth's left over heroes, the Plutonians former allies are there to try to stop him. Some of these include, some archangel dude, a chick with cool guns, a chick that makes japanese ghost stories come to life, a black guy with electricity powers (not cliche lol), a guy who can talk to machines, and a fun cast of others! So yeah check out Irredeemable if you wanna see fucked up shit, people struggling for their lives against someone completely superior and coping with betrayal, then Irredeemable is totally for you.

If the review didn't convince maybe this picture will. Yes, those are children.

Up next we've got "Kill Audio"!

"Holy Fuck that looks fucking sick" My first thoughts exactly...
Kill Audio is the music lovers comic. Written by Claudio Sanchez (of the band Coheed and Cambria) KillAudio is the titular character. An immortal with amnesia he sets about trying to find his purpose in the land of "Sight and Sound" Along the way he meets some pretty trippy characters, someone whose self determined purpose is to kill the little immortal (seen in the cover), a pillow and a skeleton in a beaver costume who both discuss things such as Led Zeppelin's validity in writing "Stairway to Heaven", and a big humanoid chicken that does cocaine, a lot of cocaine. This comic is totally trippy, so if you do drugs, I totally recommend the comic, if you don't do drugs, its a little "sicky" but still worth a read. Especially if you love music, being that music is one of the main themes of the comic. So all in all, its funny, trippy, and its even got music recommendations (I'd never heard of King Crimson until I read this, pretty chill band, kinda jazzy rock I guess). I've only read 3 out of 5 (cant find the rest anywhere around in my town), but I definitely look forward to the others once I can find them.

Resemblance? (gif by ~woken-2010)

Hope that I've convinced some of you guys to at least give these a look.

Peace.

Blog Direction, Zombies from yesterday and Chemistry for Badasses

I havent done that split yet. Waiting to hear what more people say, out of 79 followers Ive got maybe 8 opinions thus far from bloggers whose work I really respect. So yeah, still deciding where to go with that. I'm thinking maybe a split. One for Music and Movies. I've got the idea to put my music library on shuffle and talk about one song a day maybe. Also just updates and reviews on movies old and new. And on this original blog keeping some interesting thoughts, and maybe the video game talks. So once again opinions would be appreciated. Oh yeah and I've changed my profile pic to another famous Tony.

Next Month's Profile Pic

Well on that recap from yesterday, nothing significant came to mind that day really, buuuuut I hit up a friend's house to chill out and watch "The Walking Dead" on AMC on the television. I gotta say that I think its pretty cool seeing a comic book come to life. Like a lot of the scenes and camera angles are taken straight from the comic, so I think its pretty well done. Not like some comic "adaptations" (bastardizations *cough cough* Ghost Rider *wheeze*) which really don't do the written material justice. Oh and the premiere was an hour and a half long, so thats basically a movie right there. Upcoming episodes are expected to be 1 hour. So all in all, good stuff. I entered the contest to be one of their zombies, so hopefully if Im reaaaallll lucky, I can make that, otherwise whatever, just seeing the show is enjoyable enough.

Fixed: Check the bottom for a weird error and original caption

Speaking of AMC, Ive got a massive headache from my night chemistry class, acetic acid and ammonia mix gave me what I can only describe as a stomach/headache centered on my chest. Whats this got to do with AMC? Breaking Bad, thats what. That show is fucking amazing. Bryan Cranston is a brilliant actor, you would never imagine the difference between Walter and Hal (thats right, you know Bryan from his role in Malcom in the Middle). The plot is strong, and totally enjoyable. Basically a Chemistry teacher finds out he has cancer, and goes about making crystal meth in order to leave his family something. The plot thickens extremely by the first episode and continues to do so. I got into the show after Weeds started to piss me off Royally. So yeah, if you like this kind of television, definitely give it a look.

Eventually an awesome Drug dealer
Not fit to pass down Flintstones Vitamins...hot though

And thats basically it for now...so yeah little scatter brained today.

Wait one last thing! I really didn't mind Ghost Rider. But I hate HATE Blackheart's scheme.
Basically, "Ha! You're technique of damning people based on the quality of their soul's won't work on me because I have no soul! Please! Allow me to go collect the souls of an entire wicked society!"

Not the sharpest knife in Hell's box

I will post some more recap stuff tomorrow alongside some usual stuff.

Peace

Edit: For some reason the url I had earlier took out my walking dead picture and replaced it with this...
pretty fucking weird picture...I lets see if we cant make it a meme of some sort...
If zombies make you horny you should check out the comic too

Ooops Weekend and Future Blog Plans

Hey guys, my bad for not posting anything or checkin up on you fine folks during the weekend. It was Hellish in between Halloween and I had a good friend turn 21. So yeah, sorry I was neglectful baby, I swear it wont happen again...please dont go! I can change!

...just foolin.

So yeah, that aside, this week had me thinking about this blog and how Im delivering stuff. And I don't feel that I'm going about this in the most entertaining and efficient manner possible. So with that in mind I've got plans. To make several new blogs that is! Differentiate between them ya know? I get a feel that with just this one, Im not being fair to everyone. So Im thinking of making at least three other blogs. One dealing with music and another dealing with Movies and one with Videogames. How does that sound? I'd love your input. Once I make them I gonna be able to update them all fairly often (because god I am such a blabbermouth right?) and if things go well, I'll keep them that way. If I have some issues, I could just combine some of them ya know?

So yeah, Give me some feedback, would you all be interested?

Oh yeah since this update doesn't really have content, heres a funny gif i found.

Con Air: Possibly one of the best movies ever

Man today was looooooooooonnngg. Fortunately my night class ended without me dying and when I got home I cooked up some rice and sausage. Now what made the meal really enjoyable was what was playing on my tv. Con Air. Man oh man I love that movie, and it totally made my night having it show up to say hi to me on television. So Im gonna review it...
Noooo...not this...

So basically Nicholas Cage is an Army Ranger from Alabama. One night he goes to visit his pregnant wife at the bar she works at and she's getting harassed by a bunch of redneck drunks. Later they go outside and try to jump him for verbally defending her inside and possibly harm her. Cage uses his Ranger skills and incapacitates all of them. However he is sentenced to like 8 years in prison for using government granted awesomeness to defend his wife and himself. After waiting his time in prison he gets to be a free man, but as luck would have it John Malcovich and a million other awesome people take over the prison plane and set about trying to make their own escape. Since we all know Nicholas Cage is never an evil bastard, its safe to assume that he tries to stop those oh so dangerous criminals...and thats as much as I'm gonna say without spoiling it for those of you who haven't watched...

Oh yeah thats more like it

Otherwise on to the ratings!

Cast: 10/10!!! Includes Nicholas Cage, John Malkovich, John Kusach, Ving Rhames, Nick Chinlund, Steve Buscemi, Dave Chapelle, and Danny Trejo off the top of my head!
Action: 9/10 Takes awhile to pickup for you adrenaline junkies, but once it starts youll be holding in piss not to missout on some of those scenes.
Pacing: 10/10 Very logical and not rushed, this could very well have happened in 1997 lol
Plot: 10/10 Simple concept. What if prisoners took over a plane? Excellent Delivery of that plot!
Acting: 10/10 See any duds in the cast list? I didnt think so.
My favorite thing: Seeing Steve Buscemi contained like Hannibal Lecter lol.

I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye.

If you've seen it before...watch it again. If you haven't seen it, go watch it...now!

StarCraft 2, Everything I'd Expect After 10 Years

Man my day was pretty dull. Luckily this afternoon I met up with an old pal of mine and we hung out for a bit. Checked out this Dairy Queen nearby, man I did not know those guys had stuff besides icecream. The left side of their menu looked like burger king or some shit.

Anyway on toooo......STARCRAFT 2!!!!

This man's estimated survival time: 15 Seconds

Whoa this game is awesome. Bet you're wondering why? Heres why, they stuck their guns, thats why. Okay let me clarify, I DID NOT PLAY THE CAMPAIGN. I don't know how that is. I am talking MULTIPLAYER. Multiplayer was awesome because it shows that the game really stuck to the original in terms of mechanics. Sure there are some new units (which are awesome in my opinion, Mothership, Vikings, Marauders etc etc) but the biggest difference is in graphics. Graphics which by the way, look beautiful. Oh and the online community is the same too lol, that hasn't changed in the last decade, I wonder why though lol. My only real beef with the multiplayer part of this game is the music. They've got like some easy listening, alternative rock thing going on...I don't feel its appropriate for a futuristic, science fiction, RTS war game.

All in all

Story : N/A
Graphics: 10/10
Gameplay: 10/10 (very easy to pickup from the last one)
Online: lol/lol same as ever
Music: 5/10 (sometimes comforting, other times you just wanna open your music player and do your own shit)

Hopefully, if RTS is your thing, you get a copy of this.

Have fun everyone!!

Donkey Kong 64

So heres the Donkey Kong Post I just mentioned in the other post.

As I've mentioned before, Ive pulled out my old N64, gotta bunch of good games on it too that Im gonna talk about. Late this past Saturday I found, blew into, and played DONKEY KONG 64. This game was the shit. Right from the getgo they nab you with the DK Rap. They're all standing there, Donkey, Diddy, Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky (in disco clothes and fro). That oughta be enough for you to know youre in for a ride. Seriously though, this game was fun, smart puzzles, violent (what with the fruit guns lol), interesting powers and full of primates...what more could you want?? Honestly though, I played the first couple levels, fun stuff. Later on I played multiplayer with the friends, frantic fun. Also the only other time its acceptable to get pissed off for people lugging fruit at you other than...uhhh....real life?

Honestly though, if youre looking for an adventure that isnt too heavy or stressful on ya (god with all the war games im playing i swear im actually gonna end up with PTSD) and loads of wicked fun along with some good old fashioned comedy, fish this gem out and play it.

The Weekend of Zombies

Ooooppss...totally forgot to play with the blog this weekend. My bad. For starters I had that zombie walk that I mentioned earlier, which was AWESOME and it also lasted all weekend, hence my neglect. It was pretty wicked, all the zombies were chillin downtown and doing some cool stuff, ya know, performance arts shit, like contortionist, belly dancers and what not. Went with my girlfriend and two other friends, we got zombified for free, it was pretty cool. Towards the end of Friday night, we ended up having a huge march down the area with the leaders carrying a white coffin. On Saturday there were some bands playing at this Rock bar. Totally fell in love with this band called "Psychostik" wicked stuff. And there was this band whose lead singer was "Early" from Adult Swims Squidbillies. No joke. That dudes pretty funny if his songs are any indication. Again everyone was zombified for this shit too. pretty cool all in all. Not bad for my first zombie march.

Oh yeah...Sunday...today, cleaned the house did some grocery shopping...nothing too good today.

Protip: Its totally more efficient and economic to buy meat in bulk. Get like a month's worth and meat, and a big plastic tub. Oh and buy spices and olive oil. Go home, put that shit in the tub, mix it all with the spices and oil. Then separate however much you need for a meal into separate ziplock baggies and freeze that shit. Take it out on a day you wanna eat, let it thaw while you go to work or school. Come back, and cook that on the stove.......or if youre like me, grill it. Honestly, invest in a George Foreman grill or something like it. Cooks any meat in no more than 10 minutes. Like 7 minutes for steak and porkchops, and 5 minutes for chicken. Pretty good stuff. That grill is like my best investment right now. So prices...
like $30 of meat for a month
like $12 dollars of spices for like 6 months? depends on you i guess
like $5 dollars for a tub
like $70-$100 for a grill.

Trust me this will save you cash. On saturday I took my girl friend to a chinese restaurant and that shit was like $30 dollars and we got water! So yeah, eating at home like this is definitely a wiser investment.

Anywho I was gonna talk about Donkey Kong 64 but since this post has enough shit, i feel, Ill just post it in another one.

Peace

I'd Do Anything for Flesh, But I Won't Do That

Can I eat your brains tonight?

Kudos if you remember the flash cartoon where those lines came from, if you couldn't tell, they're zombie jokes. Ah yes zombies, the representation of a large, unfeeling, unthinking, mass of people. The opposite of humanity and living. "The Walking Dead" if you will (also the name of an awesome comic book for those of you interested, trust me, you won't be disappointed). Romero's metaphor for communism then consumerism, yes zombies certainly have a big place in our culture, especially now that Halloween is on its way.

So my city is having its first ever zombie walk. I've always kind of wanted to do a zombie walk, ya know dressin up all makeup and dead and just shambling around public places. One itsy problem with this one though, its sponsored by a charity and its taking place alongside a music festival in our downtown area. Not that I hate music festivals or anything, trust me i love those, but there will also be vampires having a masquerade inside one of the big fancy buildings and of course, theyll be treating us zombies like second class citizens seeing as how we're not allowed in unless we're waiters. Although I do find that hilarious.

Anywho....

zombies zombies zombies

I love em, played EVERY Resident Evil, read the books, endured the movies. Big fan of Romero's movies, or any zombie movie, even looked up some Voodoo for more crazy zombie connection. Check the Walking Dead comic for more zombie fun...or if youre willing to see what happens to your friendly neighborhood Spider Man when he gets infected, check out "Marvel Zombies".

Yeah zombies rule!!

...but part of me is afraid that they might go the way of "vampires" in Twilight.
"His body will decay, but his love never will" LOL

Peace!

Perfect Dark on N64

Old school (for some of us anyway) videogame time! Two words...Perfect Dark! I pulled out my n64 the other day, played this awhile ago and DAMN!! This game was great, and a real real step to what we consider modern shooters today. I'd say GoldenEye was the prototype, but Perfect Dark is what modern FPS truly evolved from. Weapons with secondary fire? Yup Perfect Dark. Enemies that talk and taunt and even cower? Perfect Dark, yup. Although its fun to note that enemy AI in fps games hasnt changed all that much in years.

Overall I'd say that its kinda sad that the newer generations won't be able to go back and truly enjoy this like some of us did. Sure they could set it for download, but the kids wouldnt truly appreciate it. In my dream theyd remake it with a lot of other older games...but I doubt thatll ever happen.

On the positive side, the shooters that are comin out now are pretty wicked fun too! What with Reach and the new COD coming out, Im not complaining or anything!

Transport Security Administration on Airlines

Man I love the airlines...nah not really. I've got some Colombian family that have been vacationing down there for a few weeks now. Was talking to my cousin (who's been staying with us) and he got an email from their airline requesting some info for the TSA or Transport Security Administration or somethin. Now these people are VERY American right? Its just his mom that's got any connection to the country (though she's a native born US citizen) and shes been using this airline since the early 90s. And they've held her up EVERY SINGLE TIME. Now the TSA wants more info on her? Christ what a headache...if she ever tried smuggling anything she'd definitely be caught...but she never has (as far as i know lol). Ah well, I'm crying a lot for something that's not directly my problem i know, but Im sad because she used to bring back food and stuff but last time they confiscated it, and its probably gonna happen this time too...

I swear its worse to have any Colombian connection on an airline that it is to be wearing a turban!
just messing forgive my political incorrectness

Anyone else have very consistently annoying airline issues?

The Simpsons and their newer crap?

Yeah so I've been watching a lot of simpsons with my girlfriend. That show is something Ive always loved and me and my dad used to watch it every time it came on, which if you remember, was A LOT. Anywho I'm watching it with her, we've reached most of seasons 1-12 on Dvd, and then we watch it when it comes on tv. I think she enjoys the later seasons more and I dont know why. The older ones were just setup better in my opinion. Jokes and punchlines were more strategic, character development, etc. blah blah ya know already. Im not gonna preach about the show anymore. But im mainly curious to know what people think about the newer compared to the older.

BTW my favorite episode has always been the one where Bart goes all Daredevil and the jump over Springfield Gorge. Rich stuff.

Also Futurama's always good fun.

Friday the 13th

Since Halloween is rolling around I'm seeing a lot of horror movies on tv. Just the other day I saw Friday the 13th and thought to myself "It is hilarious how our standard of horror changes," given that this movie is from the 80s, today it doesnt hold much more than a good laugh. What have we got now? SAW (some crazy guy you might accidentally piss off is gonna murder you), My Bloody Valentine (good old slasher but way more pretty), and i dunno etc. What passes as horror these days anyway? Being legitimately scared, or just some good old fashioned snuff. Who knows.

have an enjoyable halloween

Expectations, Graphics: 10, Gameplay: 10 (Unless you're a diehard fan of the older ones, even so give this a shot), Replayability: Im guessing its gonna be 10 since theres so much to do. That and we can pretty much expect expansions. So this will stay gold for years to come.

Eric LeGrand has already underwent emergency surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. Doctors, some of the most accomplished ones in the field tried to stabilize the spine. LeGrand's spirits were as good as can be expected, and he was cognizant of all of his visitors.

Pitt will try to beat Rutgers this week when the two teams meet at Heinz Field but the Panthers are all rooting for at least one Scarlet Knights player - junior defensive lineman Eric LeGrand who was paralyzed below the neck while making a tackle Saturday in the Scarlet Knights 23-20 overtime win over Army.
The Pitt athletic department has created a banner with the message "Pitt is pulling for Eric LeGrand" and it will hang at the Petersen Events Center, then it will be moved down in the Student Union later in the week.
Pitt's players, students and members of the university community at large are being encouraged to sign the banner and offer words of encouragement and it will then be on display at Heinz Field Saturday for the game near the student section.

Despite his injuries, LeGrand is remaining hopeful and will soon be expected to make healthy progress.

Tire tracks in the sand show where Junior Seau's SUV went driving off a cliff on Monday. Police are still trying to figure out what caused the accident . The former NFL linebacker is hospitalized with minor injuries.

Seau, 41, who retired this year from the New England Patriots, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Scripps La Jolla Hospital, according to the Carlsbad Police Department.
Police received an emergency call about 8:42 a.m. Monday about a vehicle veering off the road at Carlsbad Boulevard at Solamar Avenue.
"Preliminary investigation shows the vehicle left the roadway and travelled over the cliff, landing on the beach below," Carlsbad police officials said in a prepared statement. "The vehicle was only occupied by the driver, a male who was identified as Junior Seau ... Investigation is continuing into how and why the accident occurred."
Authorities would not comment on whether the collision was related to Seau's arrest hours earlier or whether it was caused by something else. He had been arrested at 12:20 a.m. in Oceanside on suspicion of an alleged assault on his live-in girlfriend.

Thusly Seau's accusation of assault may have been the driving factor behind his little accident. With all this Seau is believed to make a full recovery, however, his relationship may not.

It has often been said that horrible or distressing events such as violence can cause ghostlike interference. It has even been said that crystalline objects like quartz or other gems can record the psychic images of such events. Sometimes ghostly figures can be observed in such areas.

If either of these theories holds water, then Wilton must have ghosts in spades. The town is built on an enormous quartz formation, and it has enough tragic history to put many other ghostly hot spots to shame. To trace the paranormal events that have occurred in this town, we first have to go way back to the late 18th century. In 1773, the residents of Wilton determined they were in need of a new meetinghouse. In April of that year, the town voted to provide six barrels of rum, a barrel of brown sugar, half a box of lemons and two loaves of sugar in order to fortify the men who would be raising the building.

At times the souls of those who have yet to pass can still be seen wandering during the late hours of the night. Many still seeking to fulfill a purpose not completed during their lifetimes.
